We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering an account, managing your digital ledger, or initiating transaction requests:

Personal Account Information: Name, Mobile Number, Email Address, and Shop/Business Name.
Financial & Ledger Records: Manually entered customer transaction records, sales, payments, credit/due amounts, and recharge/drive request histories.
Device & Technical Information: Basic device details, operating system version, and unique device identifiers collected automatically for system diagnostics and analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

To create and manage your user account.
To synchronize and maintain your digital business ledger securely in real-time.
To process mobile recharge and drive offer requests.
To send account updates, transaction notifications, and broadcast messages from administration.
To generate PDF business summary reports for your business records.
To prevent fraud, secure our platform, and troubleshoot technical issues.

3. Device Permissions & Usage

The Amar Tali Khata Customer App requests the following standard permissions only when necessary for specific features:

Internet Access: Required to synchronize your ledger data with Firebase Cloud Firestore.
Read Contacts (Optional): Required only if you choose to select a contact number from your phone book for recharge or customer entry.
Camera (Optional): Used solely for scanning QR codes during payments or transactions.
Storage / Media: Used to export and save PDF business ledger reports to your device storage.
Post Notifications: Used to alert you about transaction status updates and official notifications.

Note on Admin Features: Advanced automation features like Accessibility Services and Automated USSD/SMS processing are strictly restricted to our separate internal Admin Management application and are NOT requested or accessed by the Customer App published on Google Play.

4. Third-Party Services

We utilize trusted third-party service providers to power our infrastructure and ensure seamless performance:

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Account & Data Deletion Policy (Google Play Compliant)

You have full control over your personal data. If you wish to delete your account and associated data from our servers, you can do so at any time using either of the following methods:

In-App Deletion: Open the app, navigate to Settings → tap Delete Account, and confirm your request.
Email Request: Send an email to debitmore683@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request - Amar Tali Khata" and include your registered phone number/email.

Upon receiving an account deletion request, your account will be marked for deletion and permanently removed from our active databases along with all personal ledger history within 30 days.

We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (SSL/TLS in transit and secure Firestore rules at rest) to protect your financial and personal data. While we strive to maintain robust security measures, please note that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

Our application is intended for business owners and general consumers aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
